ACA / Obamacare

Marketplace health insurance for individuals and families.

Independent comparisons across every carrier on the Florida exchange — with subsidy and tax-credit eligibility figured out before we quote.

What is ACA / Obamacare?

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) — sometimes called Obamacare — is the federal Marketplace where people under 65 can buy private health insurance, often at a heavily subsidized rate.

Plans are organized into Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers, each balancing monthly premium against deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums. We help you pick the tier that fits how you actually use care.

Who qualifies

  • Individuals and families under 65 without employer coverage
  • Self-employed and 1099 workers
  • Anyone who recently lost employer coverage
  • Families with mixed-coverage household members

Subsidies & tax credits

Most South Florida households qualify for a Premium Tax Credit that lowers — sometimes eliminates — the monthly premium. The amount depends on household income, family size, and the second-lowest-cost Silver plan in your area.

We calculate your exact subsidy before quoting, so the price you see is the price you actually pay.
