Medicare

Medicare guidance for those turning 65 — and beyond.

Advantage, Supplement, and Part D explained in plain English — with the long-term review that keeps your coverage right every year.

Medicare basics

Original Medicare — Parts A and B — is the federal program. By itself it covers a lot, but not everything: there's no out-of-pocket maximum, no prescription drug coverage, and no dental, vision, or hearing.

That's where Medicare Advantage (Part C), Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and Part D prescription drug plans come in. Picking the right combination is a big decision — that's why we walk you through it step-by-step, in the language you're most comfortable in.

The three main paths

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

An all-in-one plan from a private carrier that replaces Original Medicare and usually includes Part D, dental, vision, hearing, and an out-of-pocket cap. Networks matter — we verify yours.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Pairs with Original Medicare to fill in the cost-sharing gaps. Higher monthly premium, much lower out-of-pocket exposure, and you keep your nationwide doctor freedom.

Part D — Prescription Drug Plans

Stand-alone drug coverage that pairs with Original Medicare or a Supplement. We check your specific medications against each plan's formulary before you enroll.
